Sophie Falvey

is a Brooklyn-based actor and occasional devisor and teaching artist.

They work primarily in new work and classics, and are a resident artist with the Firebird Project.

Sophie is a graduate of Oberlin College with a double degree B.A. in Theater and English Literature. They are a recipient of the Nash Drama award.

Sophie is proficient in photoshop, but monetarily compelled to work only in their desktop photo editor.

They are a “guy’s guy.”

Writing and Devising Work

Minors

Was written/devised and performed in collaboration with Rae Bell. It premiered at the Tank Theater in Manhattan in February, 2025.

if i live until i be a man

Was written/devised with Zoe Senese-Grossberg and Rae Bell, and performed with Rae Bell. It premiered at the Chain Theater in Manhattan where it had a sold out three show run in July, 2024, followed by a two week run at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe in August, 2024, and a six show run at the Tank Theater in September, 2024.
